Real-Time Analytics & Reporting
Power Ad Sales with Real-Time Insights That Drive Action
Move beyond static reports and build a live analytics engine that supports sales decisions, campaign performance, and executive visibility.
The Strategic Challenge
Ad-sales organizations make hundreds of decisions every week, prioritizing accounts, guiding pipeline, managing pacing, and aligning revenue with delivery. Too often, those decisions rely on batch reports, disconnected tools, and conflicting definitions. CRM, OMS/ad servers, analytics, and finance each tell part of the story, but not the same story or at the same time. Dashboards proliferate without governance, latency hides risk until it’s expensive to fix, and leaders spend reviews reconciling numbers instead of steering the quarter.
When insight lags reality, sellers don’t know where to focus, managers can’t spot slippage early, and executives lose a clear picture of performance by market, product, or agency hierarchy. In an environment where speed and accountability are non-negotiable, static reporting isn’t enough.
Our Point of View
Real-time analytics is an operating discipline, not just a visualization exercise. The goal is a single language for performance—definitions, hierarchies, and time horizons that match how the business runs—delivered in role-specific views that surface signals, not snapshots. A modern analytics engine connects sell → deliver → measure → bill and supports three tiers of decision-making: operational “now/next” for Ad Ops and sellers, managerial weekly/quarterly steering for leaders, and executive outlook across segments and markets.
After 20+ years with publishers, broadcasters, streamers, OOH, and retail media networks, our lesson is consistent: when metrics are governed, latency is intentional, and insights land in the flow of work, reporting becomes a growth driver, not a monthly archaeology project.
How V2 Helps
V2 brings industry expertise and enterprise implementation to build an analytics foundation your teams will trust and use. Guided by our D(3P) framework, Data, People, Process, Platform, we start with the decisions that matter, design a KPI taxonomy and semantic layer that everyone can live with, and implement the pipelines, alerts, and role-based views that make insight actionable.
Our work includes:
-
- Defining a KPI framework that aligns to real goals, pipeline health, pacing, delivery, and revenue realization, by segment, territory, and agency hierarchy.
- Implementing governed data flows and latency SLAs so leaders see the right signal at the right time.
- Connecting data across CRM, OMS/ad servers, and finance to create unified, near real-time views.
- Putting insights in the flow of work, embedded analytics for sellers and managers, executive scorecards for portfolio steering.
- Building automated alerts and predictive signals that surface risks and opportunities before they impact outcomes.
With V2, “real-time reporting” isn’t just a feature, it’s a discipline that helps every team move faster with confidence.
Integrated Salesforce Solutions
We combine Salesforce-native tools and enterprise analytics platforms to deliver live, action-oriented visibility across the ad-sales lifecycle.

Tableau: Transforms complex data into intuitive visualizations and executive scorecards. Ideal for cross-business trend views (pacing, revenue, margin, performance) and portfolio steering across markets and products.

Data Cloud: Centralizes behavioral, engagement, and historical data into a governed context for analytics. Enriches CRM data with richer, consent-aware customer and campaign signals for deeper insight.

CRM Analytics (CRMA): Delivers native, role-based dashboards embedded in Salesforce—supporting RevOps, sales managers, and executives with pipeline quality, pacing, and performance views. Flexible enough for predictive models and custom domains.

Sales Cloud: Serves as the operational core. Instrumented stages, approvals, and campaign commitments make analytics trustworthy, while embedded CRMA/Tableau puts meaningful real-time reporting where work happens.

The Business Challenge
A multi-division streaming platform struggled to align on performance. Weekly reports arrived late, KPIs varied by region, and leaders lacked an in-period view of pacing, price realization, and recognizable revenue. Reviews devolved into reconciliations, and opportunities to intervene mid-quarter were routinely missed.
Our Approach & Solution
V2 partnered with sales, ops, and finance leaders to define a decision catalog and KPI taxonomy, then designed a unified analytics architecture. We implemented a governed semantic layer and latency tiers, stood up CRMA for pipeline and pacing in Salesforce, used Data Cloud to enrich account and campaign context, and built an executive Tableau portal for cross-business steering. Slack/Email alerts highlighted exceptions (aging deals, pacing risk, price variance) in time to act.
Outcomes (representative; replace with approved figures): time-to-signal fell materially, forecast calls shifted from reconciliation to action, and leaders increased proactive sales management across divisions, using the same definitions for the first time.
